2011

I won't be doing a recap of 2011, for it was a crazy year filled of ups and downs. I don't regret anything, I met some amazing people and spent some quality time with family. I learned a lot of new things about myself and of others. I learned to appreciate, to forgive, to love all over again.

2011 was definitely not one of my favorite years, but I wouldn't say it was a bad year either.

I'm looking forward to 2012 and what it holds in store for our family. I can't wait to experience some new things! Can't say that I'll have a resolution, not sure I'll be able to keep up with it....but I'm sure along the way some things will change :)

Happy New Year! May you all be blessed...

Online Scentsy Party!! Check it out :)

Hello Blogger Friends!

The Holiday Season is quickly ending and a New Year is approaching. Why not start the new year off right by purchasing a product from Scentsy for yourself or a friend. Bring a little warmth and fragrance to your home or place of work this coming year!
I'll be hosting an Online Party until the end of January. Feel free to check out the site, look around and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. There's no pressure to buy, but I will say they have awesome products. As a customer myself, I currently own a plug-in and a mid-size warmer...and boy do they both provide a glow and a fragrance to the room they're in.
They have an abundance of Scentsy bars to choose from; fragrances for the seasons, Romance & Spa, and even a little manly fragrance for that someone special in your life! For those of you who have children, make sure you check out their line of Scentsy buddies...they're perfect for your little one to cuddle and they bring a comforting scent.
I wish computers had such technology as Scratch and Sniff, because you'd be in Heaven!
Go ahead, check out the party now! Just visit meltinmommy.scentsy.us and click on my name, Heather S, under Open Parties. Take a look around and enjoy a little online shopping :) No awkward home parties to attend where you feel rushed to make a purchase, take your time you have a month to make your choices. Definitely share the page with your friends, this is an open event..the more the merrier!

Here are a few of my favorite products by Scentsy...ENJOY!

The Cutest Scentsy Buddy, so adorable!

This is my Plug In Warmer, lovin' the Dandelion print!

My Full Size Warmer, everyone knows I love Fleur De Lis :)

How about a little Collegiate Sport Support?
Love these....

Christmas Traditions

The season has arrived, the countdown has begun, and traditions are being made and repeated! I can't believe it's already December 1st, boy how time flies. Our Christmas shopping is mostly done for K, he just needs a few more little things to add as stocking stuffers. He's going to be spoiled, I think! We made a big purchase and jumped on the band wagon with the purchase of a hot item this year, the Leapfrog LeapPad. I'm super excited to see Kainen open it on Christmas morning and have him go to town on his own techy toy :) I saw this toy months ago in stores and knew immediately I wanted to purchase it for him this Christmas. Little did I know that it would turn into a hot toy, and never be on the shelfs come November. The mommy in me should've bought it when I first saw it, but then there's the patience of keeping it from him...especially when he's always asking to hold mine or his daddy's phone and play games. I was very lucky to find the Leap Pad Black Friday, quite early I might add at 5am, on Amazon for the low price of $99!! The days before it was jacked up high in price...for well over the retail of said low price, most of them $150 or more. I went back a few hours later and it was right back up to almost $200! I feel super relieved that his big item is now marked off our list. Now, to hold off getting it out of the box now that it has arrived.
Speaking of arrived, the Elf on the Shelf has made it's first appearance in our household. Ella the Elf, as Kainen has renamed her. Poor elf was just a number before, being only one of the 500,000 Santa's helpers, she now has a name that suits her. Not only is she here at our home, she also has a friend who is peeking around his classroom....he also made his first appearance today! Lots of little eyes on Kainen this year, better keep him off that naughty list.

Lots of traditions are beginning and new ones are being started. I'm hoping to have 25 items, traditions, this season. Here are just some ideas, and if you have any to share..please do. I could definitely use some help! Hope you all have a happy December and a very blessed holiday season!
